Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here.

I’m the owner and photographer behind Image 1:27 Photography, a professional photography studio located in Lake in the Hills, IL. My journey with photography began as a hobby when I was just 10 years old. I discovered my passion for film photography in high school and continued studying it throughout college. What started as a creative outlet eventually became my full-time business in 2010.

After beginning my photography business from home, I spent four years working from a rented studio. In the summer of 2019, I was blessed to purchase a beautiful storefront location in Trinity Commons Shopping Center on Route 31 in Lake in the Hills, Illinois—where I now welcome families from all over the area.

At the heart of my work is my faith. As a Christian, I strive daily to walk in the steps of Jesus and let His light shine through everything I do. The name Image 1:27 Photography is inspired by the Bible verse Genesis 1:27:
"So God created human beings in His own image. In the image of God He created them; male and female He created them."

As a photographer, my mission is to reflect God’s image through every person I photograph. I aim to highlight the unique beauty and worth within each individual and create images that will be cherished for generations.

I specialize in maternity photography, newborn sessions, and milestone photography for babies up to one year old. My studio is designed to offer a warm, comfortable space for you and your family as we preserve some of your life’s most meaningful moments.
