HOW LONG DOES A MILESTONE PHOTO SESSION LAST?

In-studio milestone sessions for your baby’s 3, 6, or 9-month milestones are one hour long. This relaxed timeframe gives us plenty of opportunity to capture your baby’s growth, emerging personality, and all those sweet little moments—without feeling rushed.

Held in my cozy Lake in the Hills studio, these sessions provide a calm, distraction-free environment that allows your baby to shine. With a variety of fun backgrounds and simple props, we’ll highlight their new skills—whether they’re rolling over, sitting up, or starting to explore. The one-hour session is perfect for preserving these milestones with bright, joyful images you’ll treasure for years to come.

WHERE WILL THE MILESTONE SESSION TAKE PLACE?

Milestone sessions are held in my studio, especially for younger babies who aren’t sitting up yet. The studio provides a safe, comfortable environment with the perfect lighting and setup to capture your baby’s current stage—whether they’re lifting their head, rolling over, or just starting to push up.

For your milestone or newborn photography session, you’ll have access to over 100 unique, high-quality backdrops to choose from before your session day. During a typical milestone session, we usually have time to capture your baby using 1-2 different backdrops and 2-3 outfits.
