HOW LONG DOES AN IN-STUDIO FAMLY OR CHILD SESSION LAST?
In-studio family and child photo sessions are one hour in length. This allows plenty of time for a mix of gently posed portraits and natural, relaxed moments—without feeling rushed—so we can capture genuine connection and beautiful images.
WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR?
For the best results, I recommend choosing outfits that coordinate but don’t match exactly. Avoid dressing everyone in the same color shirt and pants—instead, opt for a color palette that suits the season of your session.
A great way to start is by Googling something like "fall color palette" or "spring color palette" to find beautiful combinations. From there, choose a few complementary tones and dress each family member within that scheme.
For example, if your palette includes cream, light blue, navy, and rose:

These playful, colorful backdrops are perfect for kids under 10 years old. While older children and adults can still use them, images are typically framed from the waist up due to backdrop sizing.
